What book have you read more than once?

I don't usually read books more than once (since I already know the ending, lol) but I did read Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett twice just because it was such an easy read and an interesting subject matter.

I never read books more than once, I'm always eager to move on to the next interesting read.

I tend to re-read the classics a lot (Jane Eyre, all of Jane Austen, Dickens, etc.) I also re-read the Harry Potter Series, The Hunger Games Series, Tolkien quite often. I guess for me, the deciding factor is whether the book is more about character development or whether it hinges on a "gotcha" moment (or moments) like whodunits. Even though I know what's going to happen when I re-read a book, it doesn't matter b/c it's like I'm revisiting a beloved vacation spot or an old friend.

Too many to list. All the books I keep are rereadable. My favorite? James Lee Burke's series.

As I said elsewhere, I don't read a book to get to the end, I read a book to see how the author gets me there. I've been known to read the end then read the rest of the book. The author has to be able to write not just slam down a story. If you want an example, James Lee Burke can write. Only writer that turns me green with envy.

Come to think of it, most of the books I read are rereadable. I tend not to bother with what I call throwaways.
