I need a book recommendation for my 28 yr old son please

My son is 28 years old and finally following in my footsteps to reading. He prefers audiobooks if possible but I have no idea what to suggest. Mom is the "Give me Smut or give me death" lady. The last book he read was Amber V. Nicole The Book of Azrael Gods & Monsters #1. He really enjoyed it so if anyone has any suggestions I would be greatful. Thanks in advance

I did not know about the series 😕 so I googled it. There were several threads to it, in Goodreads and reddit

According to reddit these have similar vibes.
Kathryn Ann Kingsley :Maze of Shadows, Masks of Under,
Fall of Under, Halfway Between.
Firebird Chronicles by TA white and J. Briee are also good choices.
