    Hi there
I've listed some of my go-to authors / series below (my re-reads in a nutshell). Most of which are well-known. There are a couple of indie authors in the mix though, so (fingers crossed) you might just find something new.

    - Emma Hamm (Whispers of the Deep)
    - Jessica Ann Disciacca (Awakening the Dark Throne + Witches of Triora)

    [DYSTOPIA, SURVIVAL, PLAGUE & co]

    - Imogen Keeper (After the Plague)
    - Claire Kent (Kindled + Last Light)

    [URBAN FANTASY]

    - Patricia Briggs (Mercy Thompson)
    - Deborah Harkness (All Souls)
    - Ilona Andrews (Kate Daniels + Hidden Legacy)
    - Z.W. Taylor (Moon Blood Saga)
    - Rachelle Mills (Wildflower)
    - Bree Rosebury (A Scent of Moon & Madness)
    - Phoebe Walker (Daughters of Hecate)
    - Cate C. Wells (Five Packs)
    - Kresley Cole (Immortals After Dark)
    - Seanan McGuire (October Daye)
    - Suzanne Wright (Dark in You)
    - M.A. Everaux (*Standalones)
    - Daria T. Rowan (*Standalones)
    - Kim Harrison (The Hollows)

    [SFR]

    - Catherine Miller (Deridia)
    - Lydia Hope (Rix Universe + Planet Zero)
    - Sandy West (Setan)

    [HIST. ROMANCE/SAGA]

    - Diana Gabaldon (Outlander)
    - Rosalind Laker (*Standalones)
    - Hadas Knox (*Standalones)

    [HIST. ROMANCE]

    - Alice Colbreath (Brides of Karadok + Vawdrey Brothers + Victorian Prizefighters + Victorian Reversal of Fortune)

    [CONT. ROMANCE/SLOW-BURN]

    - Mariana Zapata (*Standalones)

    [NON-FICTION]

    - Sharon Blackie (*Standalones)

Me personally, when going through a reading drought, I tend to start a survival / societal collapse type of series (a.k.a. training as we may call it these days - he he he). These books are rarely re-reads for me, a bit like thrillers/mysteries (once you know, well you know. It's more of a one-time type of thrill for me).
Here are a couple of authors as far as my [post] apocalyptic, survival/plague era goes:
    - T.L. Payne
    - Kyla Stone
    - Harley Tate
    - Barbara J. Walker
    - Lindsey Fairleigh
    - Lindsey Pogue
    - Jacqueline Druga
    - Grace Hamilton
    - ********* Mylchreest
    - Stacey Upton
    - Lena Gibson
    - Gwendolyn Harper
    - Elle Richards

Hopefully some of the above hits your reading genres Take care !
