Do you judge a book by the cover?

I often skim interested book from the cover if I interest it then I read the summary.

I have to admit that I do. Then after I will read a review or someone will say how good the book was then I tend to go back and read it.

Yup, I acknowledge it. That's to get me to look at the summery/back. Unless I really love an author. I admit I didn't care for the cover of scholar by L.E. Modesitt but the book was good. I'm willing to give it a second look if I run into it online with a bit more info than the summary but otherwise, pffft. Don't care, rarely change my mind.

I usually read the blurp at the back. If it appeals, I will read it.

Me too! Often there are so many choices that i just check the ones that catch my eye, then I read the summary to decide if I want it or not. My only exceptions are favorite authors that I will grab just because I know I will like them.

80% no, i dont judge...20% i do...n everytime i pick a book of that 20% i dnt like d cover, they do end up li'l idiotic books with weak plots n unimpressive!!

I do sometimes. Initially what tends to grab me is the title and the cover then i read the synopsis to determine if i want to read it or not.

Yes i do and sometimes I have regretted it. I try not to do it anymore but sometimes the cover is just so cheezy I can't get past it.

Not anymore, especially since so many of these books have exactly the same cover, or the same models/body parts arranged in a different way. I usually stick with authors I know or try to read an excerpt before buying/downloading. Still there are some bad ones. Luckily with e-books it is so easy to throw them back. Just hit delete.
