I have two series that i need to find.1. In one the first book is about a female songwriter (I think she is a songwriter but I know she works with bands) who was attacked by band mate while working with him. She became a recluse until she was needed to help another band (who happens to be made of vampires which is a secret). The band also works kind of like vampire police when a vampire kills a human. During the story she falls in love with the leader of the band. I think one of the band ends up being the murderer. That is all I can remember about that book but I pretty sure it is a part of a series.2. In the other series it is a series of romance books about criminals like the mob. But they are like family. The new generation went to college to get a law and accountant degrees so they can be better not to get caught. I that one I can remember a male law student (part of the family) fell in love with a fellow female law student when he need an alibi he lied and said he was with another woman because he didn't want his girlfriend to have to lie or ask questions. They broke up. Years later they get back together and she finds out what happened. They get married and become law partners. I can't remember more. I do know that in one book in the series the son of leader who is next in line to lead and who went to college for an accounting degree falls in love.I just loved these series but it was so long ago and I can't remember the name of the series or the author with both books.Please help!
