Last book you read

Hi guys! I'm in need of book recomendations, so I was wondering what was the last book you read that was really good. Something you would recommend to everybody.

I'm currently reading Why we Sleep and although I haven't finished, it's a must read.

The last book I've seriously enjoyed was "Awakening the Dark Throne" by Jessica Ann Disciacca (the second tome of the Dark Throne is expected to be out on 17.09.2024) [Dark Fantasy]

As far as other tropes (if not a stand-alone, I recommend the series as a whole):
- Winter Lost by Patricia Briggs (Mercy Thompson #13) [Urban Fantasy/Shapeshifters]
- The Black Bird Oracle by Deborah Harkness (All Souls #5) [UF/Witches]
- The Hunt by Z.W. Taylor (Moon Blood Saga #2) [UF/Werewolves]
- Luna and the Lie by Mariana Zapata [Cont. Romance/Slow-burn] (the best - her books are deeply satisfying)
- Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone by Diana Gabaldon (Outlander #9)[Hist/Time Travel]
- If Women Rose Rooted by Sharon Blackie [Non Fiction/Mythology]
- You Will Own Nothing by Carol Roth [Non Fiction/Economics]

Currently reading A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. Although I had heard of the series (of course) and I really enjoyed her Crescent City books, I always put the series on the back-burner. The Dark Throne really put me in the mood though, and so far, it does not disappoint!

I highly recommend Ilona Andrews and especially the Hidden Legacy series
