I listen to audiobooks on a SanDisk mp3 player during my walks. Sadly after 3 years my SanDisk just stopped working. I have ordered a new one, but am wondering is there a better choice other than this SanDisk or ipods. Or as a backup when this one breaks too. I chose the SanDisk player as I can directly transfer my audible books to this player. But this was before they stopped with Format 4 and now you can only download the Enhance version of AAXC. In this player it cuts off a few seconds of the ending in the audiobook. Found a way to solve it by converting the AAXC files to mp3 with OpenAudible. So it doesn't matter if the mp3 player can't play the AAXC files anymore. Any suggestions for a portable mp3 player?
