I read this few years ago and can't for the life of me find it again.

Heroine is troublesome to her current pack/clan/family (not a doormat in a pretty archaic pack and so they want rid of her) so she's grabbed up against her will with a few other females and they're sold or traded off to another pack... they are wolf shifters, I think. She ends up locked up alone at the destination, and turns out to be the alpha's mate. I think there was something wrong with him - either some sort of scarring/disability or insanity from never having found his mate.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.
