I used to secret away her books from my aunt's not-so-secret stash and read through the night
A great author
I just learned of this news and I am so deeply saddened by it. Julie Garwood was the first author I read when I first had to take the metro for my first job in order to keep strangers from speaking to me. She kept me company with her stories and cemented my love and joy for reading. Thank you Julie for your wit and humor, it definitely got me through work and then some.
Oh wow I did not know. She was a great writer
This was my first adult romance book. The book that opened the rabbit hole down historical romance, especially highland subsection!

Sad to hear of her passing. She was one of the first romance authors I read when I was younger and she became a favorite.
So sad to hear that 😢 My first historical romance was by her..it was "The Prize" May she rest in peace.
Sad to hear! Loved her books!
