Title I'm looking for: Mafia story of the 2nd sons or illegitimate sons? of different mafia families coming together to create a bigger mafia/group. There is also a female Japanese/Asian? assassin that joins their group, but no one knows she's an assassin. She has a name that she's called which brings fear into all families.

Am hoping someone will recognise the book - h is i think a social worker (Beth? Rachel?) who is raising her niece after the death of her sister who was married to an abusive man - she's moved (run away) away and lives close to a gym where our Hero works (called Quinn)?

I think the little girl doesn't speak much - and i remember the h feels guilty for not protecting her sister from her ex-husband abuse - i think they are also on the run after finding her sister dead - as the Aunt doesn't have custody.

i also feel like there’s a pool scene where they initially meet.

Am looking for a M & B in the late 80's book to late 90's book - where the h comes home after she learns she is pregnant and her lover doesn't want it - (he may have been her boss), she initially resents the baby because of this and feels guilty when she loses it thinking she is being punished for not wanting it. The H (mike) is a friend of her brother? brother-in-law? He proposes marriage for the family's sake, but before she has it she miscarries - they have already created a nursery at this point as well, which he helped her with, I remember she was wearing a striped outfit for this. The lover comes back (may have been before the miscarriage) and she tells him she's in love with the H. It may have been set in Australia. The H is not the father of the child she is carrying/loses and there is a point where the guy who's baby it was comes back to her * asking forgiveness or offering to marry her. I think as I don't think the h has met the H before - until she goes to stay with her brother/family.

I got a book off of this website in the last few months, don't remember the book much other than it was a good book, one part I remember there was a group of women, I think a MC seems like they had special gifts,and they took revenge for people that has been hurt. in one scene they had the bad guy on a table and hired a hooker to come there and have sex with him, she wasn't very clean. I'm sorry that isn't very much information. if anyone could help me I would appreciate it. Thanks for the help
