    Question Ink On Leather

It never fails that I end up with ink/pen marks on a leather bag. I'm hesitant to try chemicals. Ideas?

    Hairspray could help.

I was thinking hairspray too, until I read on this (http://www.ehow.com/how_4735246_remo...s-leather.html) site that it could damage the leather, but there are some suggestions on there that might help. I think it depends on the type of leather too. It will be tougher to get out of suede or untreated leather.

Thanks, the hairspray worked quite well. I then lightly used a pencil eraser. Only I can tell it's had a mark.

It never fails that I also have ink stains. I only know of hairspray or alcohol. Try home remedies.

Also the best invention ever: MR. Clean Magic Eraser. I also use it to clean my white macbook. Double duty.

I use to have this issues and I previously uses alcohol which is bad. I do believe Magic eraser is the good way.

Dry cleaners have special solutions to remove ink, dont try to remove yourself as it will damage the leather ( ex lakeland leathers staff) x
