I love reading fantasy and sci-fi books with powerful female leads that have way more magical ability then those around them or what's normal. especialy if there a mix of different sups . I just don't see that many, maybe I don't know were to look but I thought id see if any one had any suggetions because Id love to know what anyone will suggest. I haven't read a lot of Fantasy but I'll recommend those I know of that fit the bill: Nalini Singh's Psy/Changeling series and Guild Hunter series and Shayla Black's Doomsday Brethren series.

Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels series as well as Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series are enjoyable reads with strong female leads.

Laurell K Hamilton - Anita Blake Series is the best I can think of. And yes the Nalini Singh's Psy/Changeling series too.
