That book you remember the plot of but not the name...

Hi guys I'm looking for I don't know if it's mills and boon or silhouette, anyway the heroine and her mother Lilliana owns a lingerie store I think and they're in a bit of financial trouble the hero who is Greek agrees to help if the heroine will marry him and have kids, she does and of course they fall in love in the end he surprises her with a private wedding, it's set in Australia. I remember her telling him don't be disappointed if they only have girls, and he said why would he be if they turned out like her or something like that.

Don't remember much about the book but I think a modern women is either sent back/forward in time and ends up with the H, think hes a leader of some sort, who is off fighting/at war.
Don't think he spends to much time with her in the beginning, so she ends up playing what she thinks is a strategy game most days in one of his rooms, think it might have been holographic maybe, but it turns out to be the actual situations his army/troops are in with the enemy and she is really good at it. h plays a lot of comp games like it back home.
H thinks it is someone else at first, then finds out its the h.
Also remember that they have to go to a sacred temple/cave, the enemy finds them and causes a cave in , think h was inside by herself. Think that's from the same book!!

the strategy game bit was the main part I remembered, hopefully someone knows it, driving me mad!! Think it was a few years ago I read it!

I'm pretty sure the book you're looking for is Kiera's Moon by Lizzy Ford, the h is human and ends up going to another planet because her friend mated an alien. She ends up mating the alien H by accident and she plays what she thinks is a video game on his planet when he's gone.

I’m looking for this book I remember some of the plot. The girl gets pregnant by her boss and she tells him she’s pregnant. I think he says he doesn’t believe her and wont marry her and she tells him she çmarrying someone else. She tells her fiancé she pregnant and he tells her hell take care of it. On her wedding day her boss up and takes her somewhere and they get married. She find out later her husband has a daughter and they bring her to live with them. She is kidnapped by her ex and learns that when he said her take care of the baby, he meant he was going to sell. She is later rescued and she gives birth to twins. I believe it is either Harlequin or M&B. Thank you!!!!

The stories theme is young adult or new adult. The hero and the heroine are in high school. The heroine and the hero can't be together because the heroine is from wealthy family (the heroine was adopted when her mother married the richest man in town) and the hero is not. The hero have a scar in his face. And there also a complication where the hero's father is drunk and have an affair with the heroine's brother's wife. The hero ended become a sheriff.

Hi guys, I've been looking for this book for months, I'm dying for some help Here's what I remember:

The heroine was a recent? widow with children living back in her hometown, she and her husband were dancers or some sort of performers and I think there was some talk about motherhod having afected her career. I'm not sure if she was giving lessons or had dance studio but she had financial issues. The H was kind of rich and an admirer (had a crush on her since high school maybe?). Anyway, pages happen and they're about to get married and he overhears the h telling her sister/cousin/relative that she's marrying him for financial security, of course he misunderstends, she was talking about stability and really loved him. He says nothing and marries her planing on revenge, they go on honeymoon and he treats her horribly. The rest of the book went on with h crying and H being a cruel p*ick. More pages happen, happy ending, pleeeease help! Thanks!

"It's a medieval historical romance published perhaps ~15 years ago (or earlier) and it left me rather disquieted but every once and awhile parts of the novel flash into my memory and now I want to find it again-- perhaps I would enjoy or understand it more as an adult.

I believe the heroine was Scottish and the hero was a knight/nobleman or Scottish laird. He was cold, cruel, and seemingly heartless and I found it unpleasant reading what the heroine endured from him throughout their 'love story.' (. . . That's probably why I felt disquieted and didn't bother retaining the book, convinced I would never want to read it again).

Towards the novel's conclusion, after the heroine had suffered heartache constantly, she was suddenly forced to flee the castle on horseback, in mortal danger (from the hero's enemies, iirc). I vaguely remember that by fleeing, she may have been trying to protect the hero from those who would use her against him but whatever her motive, she felt compelled to feign her own death so she could finally escape. She smeared blood (from one of the fallen enemies, I believe) onto fragments of her gown caught on the horse's saddle and escaped on foot and hid herself, hoping the enemies would be deceived after tracking the horse into believing she'd already been killed.

Instead, the horse returned to the castle. When the hero and castle guards saw all the blood on the saddle, they became convinced the heroine had been killed. Iirc, the heroine was not able to return immediately and by the time she finally did . . . the hero had descended into a state of total mental instability, literally insane with grief/anguish in the certain belief that he'd lost her.

Does this sound like it could be any of the medieval/historical romances already listed in this discussion . . . or another one you may have encountered? Thanks again!

PS: I seem to remember that there was a title keyword 'Lion' or perhaps 'lion' was part of the hero's noble title/estate name."

Im pretty sure that the book is Josh & Hannah from Lynda Chance, and I'm also sure that the h parents don't mind that the H is poor...
