I'm looking for a book (contemporary) where the heroine is a teacher/principal, she is barren and she wants to adopt a baby in a hospital. But,the adoption failed because the birth father was found and he is the hero. It turns out that the hero's daughter/son is the heroine's student. Can anyone tell me what this book is? It's a werewolf romance, I remember there's this girl who doesn't know what she is, her and her dad works in the city some kind of repair shop motorcycles or cars, the hero comes to the city to save her from other werewolves, they take off on motorcycles. She thinks her dad has been killed. This is all I remember of the book. Thanks for the help

The plot is like :-
heroine is working in a resort or restaurant and she plans to have a baby via sperm (IVF), he is CEO or owner of the place. He wants her to stay as she is the best employee so when he got to know her reason, firstly he is shocked then came up with solution that heroine will be all alone for baby so he offers her his service (of course he wants to make baby by old fashion way). In that way she could work for him and also have baby. Both agrees and later on fall in love but does not declare their love. In the end, Heroine saw him flirting with another lady in his resort & misunderstand and left from the resort, hero saw her leaving and declare his love.

if i m not wrong the heroine name was emily or emmy something like that. In this plot Heroine, Hero & his brother is also friend since childhood i guess...

The same author write the second novel -series: The plot is based on above mention's CEO's brother 's love story who is also working in the same resort and where a girl came to discover a plant which is very rare and only available in that resort island only. Hero does not want to anyone to harm those plant and try to distract the girl.

The book I'm looking for is a SciFi/Alien/Futuristic e-book I read a few years ago. Earth woman relocates to a different planet & falls in love with an Alien who used to be a Medical doctor on his planet.

Human woman relocates to another planet after her father dies. She buys a house site unseen,not knowing that the home is actually uninhabitable. The man is a alien in exile from his own home planet. He is a loner, grouchy and initially doesn't want anything to do with her (or anyone.) He's only got one male friend on the planet (the friend is married to a human woman who is not very intelligent but sweet.) The failure of the male alien's arranged marriage resulted with him being charged with a crime, losing his medical license and being exiled to this planet to live out his days. There is a storm and the earth woman has to stay with him instead of going to the home she had bought from him because it was destroyed in the storm. There are a couple of scenes in a local store around the drink sarsaparilla/root beer I think (the store also has a ice cream/soda counter?) The woman really likes the drink and the male alien thinks it tastes like crap and won't drink it, but does make sure they order some to take home. Another scene is where the human female is accosted by another male from the planet who grabs her and disrespects those in the store. The male alien steps in a deals with him. Also, on a trip back from the store, there is a huge storm which delays their being able to safely get back to the house. I think they have to pull over and wait it out for a while. When the human female relocated to the planet she brought with her a jewel her father gave her which, unknown to her, turns out is an energy source for which people will kill her to acquire. (She makes jewlery of some kind or sews stuff with little gems, can't remember ... it's her hobby or side income source.) The alien male's family is a powerful one on his home planet and they make sure he's comfortable on this new planet by making sure he has things from home to keep him comfortable, while working in the background to have the charges against him reversed. He has a big beautiful home and it is self-sustaining given the brutal conditions of the planet. The alien man and his family save her from those who want to kill her for the "jewel" that is the secret to a unlimited energy source. They end up a couple.

I'm looking for a YA book (i think)...i remember very little, the heroine has a stalker...then enter this guy (maybe from the same school as her) offers to be her pretend boyfriend so the stalker would back off. The heroine might have an imaginary boyfriend that doesn't exist before she got the pretend boyfriend.
