Sounds similar to --
The Boyfriend Deal - Charity West
When Hadley’s ex-boyfriend starts to become a stalker, she decides it’s time to take drastic measures and kisses the first boy who walks past her locker. But she isn’t prepared for the kiss, not at all, or what happens afterward.
Tyler Robbins, the captain of the football team, is every girl’s dream guy. He has somewhat of a reputation for using girls and tossing them aside, not that it stops them from flocking his way. All of that changes the moment Hadley’s lips touch his.
When Tyler proposes that Hadley pretends to date him as a way to save them both—him from his mother and her from her ex-boyfriend—Hadley is reluctant to give it a try. In the end, she agrees, but she’s nowhere near prepared for the journey she’s about to embark on.

Woman gets married to some titled guy who doesnt treat her well (cant remember if this has violence or not).
Her husband eventually tires of her and goes off to India, where he dies in a shipwreck. He did have a habit of keeping a diary.
Few years later, the h lives under her husband's guardians who taunt her and buy expensive things that are not in their budget.
She has a sister who is married to her husband's friend, and he is very abusive (physically) with the sister..
News arrives that her husband did survive, and is coming back.
h is scared, but realized that her husband has changed, and he's become more sympathetic to her and lusts/loves her.
His abusive friend doesnt believe this new guy is his friend, and the guardians and he come up with a story that he is an imposter, etc.
anyway, turns out the returned husband (the H) is the bastard brother of her original husband, and he has been raised in India, or something like that. husband did die on some foolish thing, and H got access to the diaries and made a tattoo to prove he is original husband.
h figures out the truth, misunderstanding and then happily ever after.
Any one remember this book name. I think it was Lisa Kleypas
Yup, sounds like Lisa Kleypas' Stranger in my Arms
"Lady Hawksworth, your husband is not dead..."
With those words, Lara's life turned upside down.
Hunter, Earl of Hawksworth, had been lost at sea. Or so she'd been told. Their unhappy marriage—with its cold caresses and passionless kisses—was over. But now a powerful, virile man stood before her, telling secrets only a husband could know, and vowing she would once again be his wife in every way.
While Lara couldn't deny that this man with the smoldering dark eyes resembled Hunter, he was attentive and loving in ways he never was before. Soon she desperately wanted to believe, with every beat of her heart, that this stranger was truly her husband. But had this rake reformed—or was Lara being seduced by a cunning stranger?

A couple of months ago, I read a book about a treasure hunter, and his adult daughter, he was going to meet someone to get the Dragon's Eye, and took his daughter with him. It turns out the someone was a dragon/shifter. Anyway, she gets the drop on the dragon, kicks his behind, and then runs. Her and her dad split up, because the dragon swears that he will find her. She runs to Las Vegas, gets a job in an exclusive shifter/paranormal club, "she is unaware of this aspect". All the while she is having "real" dreams, in which the dragon is being all kinds of naughty. I didn't realize that this was a serial, and now, I can't remember the author's name, or the name of the book. Help, please.

Never mind. I found it. It is How to Piss Off a Dragon, by J.B. Miller, and unfortunately, it's a serial, with only the first part out.
