That book you remember the plot of but not the name...

I've been trying to find this book all I remember is the opening scenes theme m/m, bdsm. It starts with a poker game three friends two of whom are a couple and the last getting over the loss of his lover/husband. At the poker game a young (punk)brat has been invited as the game Winds down the kid is losing and has lost all his money and tries to make a grab and dash with the winnings. The friends grab him and take him down into the now single friends ba*****t/dungeon and some dubious consent and video taping goes on for blackmail purposes? I just remembered the opening and not much of the rest. Help is appreciated. Thank you

A couple of years ago i read a romantic suspense book about a heroine who was kidnapped by a very bad guy who ******ly abused her and physical torture her*(i remember a scene where the jerk drown her repeatedly).she is saved by her friend(or sister) but she is very traumatized and the hero tries to help her(i think he was a dom).it`s part of series .Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Hello everybody,
So the book i am looking for was released in the last six months and is duology of which the first has been released.
The plotline deals with a football player and girl who is the daughter of the owner or somebody important's daughter and she is doing an internship at the football players team and they fall in love however they break up because of a secret he had, in the end when she is at the airport leaving he is also boarding a flight and wants to talk to her , but a woman interrupts them and introduces herself as the wife of the player.

Can anybody tell me which book this is please. I would be highly obliged please.

I want to know the name of a historical romance fiction.A guys gets married.I guess he was a lord or something...not sure.The girl's nanny/maid suspects that she is not a virgin and gives her blood in a skin(or watever).The guys finds the blood and thinks his wife is trying to cheat him and leaves and doesnt speak with her.That wife is a doctor(kind of) and treats her husband's people.The husband has a brother.I would love to read this book again!

What I remember:
H:A ex-soldier Werebear who is asked by a fellow werebear soldier to protect his sister because he think she is in trouble.
h:The girl does not know her brother, her late mom and dad were shifters, but has bears pictures/figurines all over her place. She is owning a restaurant/bar(?) and have an employee with a gothic look.

Hi, there!! I am trying to find this book of the particulars:

It is a HQR book published before 2000.

The hero is a widower and the heroine was his wife's best friend.

While being in love with his wife, the hero was attracted to the heroine(there is a swimming pool scene with the heroine in bikini playing with his wife and children but going away as soon as the hero enters) but had little to no interaction with her and thought her to be cold and reserved.

The heroine has always been in love with the hero but they always avoided each other.

After the death of the wife, the hero and the heroine start to discover each other(hero is possessive and compares the heroine to moon), start falling in love and eventually marry.

Hi, I am looking for a book that I didn't read. I read the first chapter as it was a freebie at the end of a Mills and Boon. It would have been a Modern/Presents book. At the time it was print only for some reason and not an ebook. It began with a sister who had died. I can't remember if she was a twin or a sister. It seemed to be that the dead sister's husband needed for her to be believed she was alive and I think he then asked the sister to take her place. As I'd read a bit, it has often tickled the back of my mind as to what happened! Thanks

I am looking for the title of this book. Its about a vampire who is the king of vampires, the book starts out showing when he was younger and his baby sister was born and his mother passed away, then his father passed away because he could not live without his mate. The vampire had a brother that he believed that died who's name started with D. We find out later that the brother did not die but became the enemy. Current day the king meets his mate in a club and tries to keep her in his house where he lives with his brothers and sister. She leaves and is kidnapped by D and has to be rescued by the king. When she is rescued that is when the king find out that D is his brother that he though was killed years before. This is the first book in the series, I know there is at least 1 more. Thanks

I can't remember the title or the author. The story was about the female main character wrote letters to the male main character who was in the army (navy??????). She was pretending to be her sister when she wrote to him. When the male main character tried to contact the female main character - he got her sister who then dobbed her sister. When the male main character met the female main character for the first time after his mission, he knew she was not the sister but she was dreading how to tell him the truth.
