Software to turn aaxc file to mp3

I don't know if this is the right place to post.

I have three audible books that I want to turn into MP3s for vacation. My MP3 player will not play an AAXC file.

Any help will be appreciated. I can send the aaxc file to someone to have them turn it into an MP3 that would be okay with me

I'm not sure if you've found the solution for this already but I'm using this programme from https://openaudible.org/ to convert my audible books to mp3. My Sandisk MP3 player does play aaxc files but I'd prefer to have an audiobook break in Chapters rather than one long whole mp3 file.
