Default Best mobile brand for photos

I've always had an Iphone but am tempted to try something new. Quality of photos taken by the phone is really important to me though so can anyone recommend a good brand and model? Or should I just stick to the Iphone.

This topic piqued my interest too.
I am not looking for good pictures but I am looking for decent quality videos. I've used iphone once for the slomo specifically I liked it.
But I use an android and it's falling apart, therefore I too wonder if there's other phones, other than apple's ones, that can take decent quality pictures and videos. Doesn't have to be professional. I just want to do random video editing and animation. (of course maybe phone's not adequate, maybe we all need a good ol' fashion camera all along.)

As far as I know the top Huawei models use Leica lenses. My daughther has a Huawei P40 Pro. She replaced her iPhone with this model especially because of the camera, which is beyond excellent.
Leica is the world's best lensmaker for many, many decades. Leica products are extremely expensive. I do not know if Huawei phones are available in all countries due to the spyware nonsense. If it is, it is worth considering.
