I sometimes suffer from anxiety. Thankfully not too often. If you feel like it changes your life as in you cannot do things you want to do and live like you want to live: please look for professional help. And please know that sometimes you don't find the right person to help you on your first or even third try.
For acute anxiety attacks, there are small things that could help. E.g. the 5-4-3-2-1 method: think about 5 things you can see, then look for 4 things you can touch, afterwards concentrate on 3 things you can see, 2 things you can smell and lastly one thing you can taste. Doing this distracts you from your anxiety and roots you in the present. Hope this helps a little bit.
Talking to a professional usually gives you a whole set of tools you can use depending on your situation. The right person can give you everything you need to either cope or in many cases get rid of most of the anxiety.
