It really bugs me that I cannot find this story...It was couple of years ago when I read this prequel.<br>I was published in one of the Various Authors collections in 2020 +/-1 year.<br>This is an age gap story. I think it was mafia age gap ...The girl is the guy's ex-wife's daughter. Each of her birthdays the guy gives her a gift in person. At one of her birthdays he shows up with another woman. The agreement was that when she reached 18 she will get married this older guy (that was the price that he let go her mother, that was his payment for the divorce), so when she reaches her 17th birthday, she get his gift, but somehow she ends up at his place and sleeps under his roof...and her parents are mad with her...I know that author published this girl's parents' story too before this. It was a duet...I hope someone can help me with this. Thanks!
