Mc wakes up fealing as if he's being watched ( apparently his mated to a vampire ,who drank from him and now has his brother watching him).
As a he's ( mc) coming to terms with this he gets a phone call from his best friend crying as his husband has left him and their daughter he doesn't know why or what to tell the daughter,he's deverstated.mc tell him him he will be there ASAP with the little girls birthday present ( he's been making her a big girl princess bed).

Mc 's vampire mate works out (the husband was turned by a rouge vampire who promised him that would be all the answers to his prayers , he believes his husband is really in love with his best friend mc, also father to the daughter,everyone turns to him ,loves him etc) .
Mc vampire mate ( or his father Bites the husband so rouge has no more power over him ,his husband kicks him out as he's hurt him and daughter so much with his insecurities etc)
