I friend of mine is looking for a book and I hope someone here can help, this is what she said about it.

Hey guys. This is not about a MM book. I'm looking for the title of a romance book series I read years ago but I can't remember the title now. It's not a recent release but was released during the 2010s probably.
The blurb of the series is : the storyline starts in high school (probably) the girl was fat before (I remember there was mention of stretch marks) but is not now and the guy, also in the same school is cold and has a history (spoiler he loved someone and had a baby who died and that's why he is closed off. The skeleton of the baby was buried in a forest and there was a scene the girl or the boy or they both find that.). The girl is very bubbly and uses humour as a defence mechanism, very self-deprecating. The relationship continues in the next book of the series where they go to college.

PS - I don't think she remained chubby. She lost the weight but the stretch marks didn't go away and she was really insecure about them. I think she had a jerk boyfriend who didn't do much for her confidence.
Any help would be greatly apprediated!
