New10 Can I use my Calibre Library with new Kobo eReader?

    Hello everyone.
I finally was able to buy a new Kobo ereader on a payment plan, and I'm awaiting delivery. I've been using my beloved old Sony PRS-2 but the external light, and having to reset it (good old paper clip Hidden Content ) twice a day was a pain. I've had to do two hard resets in the past month.
Finances are very tight on disability, and without this site and the beloved ebooks, I'd be lost.
I use Calibre for my Sony, and want to know if there are any pitfalls I need to be aware of, using the Kobo with Calibre as most of my ebooks come from here? When I do buy a book I download it to my hard drive, and will continue to do so. Should I turn off the wifi on the Kobo? Can Kobo discern if the ebooks are drm free, and is that a problem?
I'd appreciate any advice you could provide.
Apologies in advance if this has been covered elsewhere, I searched, but may have missed something.
Thank you and happy reading xx <3 Hidden Content
