If anyone has any suggestions on this topic but with IR (bwwm) genre I'd be grateful. TIA.

Home by K. Carr. Hardhitting topic but very well executed. 5 star read for me.

A year and a day by Virginia Henley is one if my favorite books. I've read it several times so far. Basically they are wed for convenience so the hero can get an heir but he spends most of their marriage away at war and being a stranger to the heroine. So it is up to her to woo her husband to so he takes time to know her and eventually fall in love with her.. No more spoilers but i'd highly recommend anyone to read it

How about Marriage Games (The Games Duet #1) by C.D. Reiss? The series continues with their rocky relationship in Separation Games. It's a bit kinky and ****** but that isn't something that discourages me.

Just finished reading Pretty Venom by Ella Fields, definitely a troubled marriage.
