Girl is at the bikers club and she paints this life like lion or tiger on the wall while everyone else is sleeping. She was a foster kid and the woman who had the foster home would abuse the kids, and let her son abuse them too. They put the girl down in the ba*****t for punishment , I think the son raped her down there. Also there is another girl who was with her at the foster home.

Hi, I am looking for a book by Barbara Cartland. The heroine is married to an abusive husband. She meets the hero when he comes to meet her husband. And they fall in love and when her husband dies, they meet after the mourning period of a year is over.

Hopefully someone can help...I cant remember the name of the book. It is an older harlequin or M&B book in which the heroine is acting as a paid companion for an older woman. The hero is a rich guy (of course) who sweeps the heroine off her feet. I believe he is a sheikh but he is also part Italian or greek. they end up in a tent in the desert and the heroine picks up a gun to shoot herself because she does not believe the hero loves her. any ideas on the book?

Looking to remember name of book (I think it may be an M-F-M) - cop(s) falls in love with a girl while trying to solve a serial killers case about women being hunted and killed. Eventually girlfriend is kidnapped and when the cops rescues her they discover the killer is actually a female cop they work with that felt the girlfriend was not good enough for the cop. (Part of the kidnapping is injuring the girls knee making it impossible to get around and then telling her she has a few minutes head start before the killer hunts her down) Ending was that the lady killer cop finds her first but the girlfriend outwits her and gets the gun from her and that's how her boyfriend and his partner find them.

The hero comes from a a wealthy family and the girl from the other side of the tracks.

They met during summer at the time when he had broken up with his long-term girlfriend.
The girl got pregnant and her father, a drunkard read about it in her diary.

Threatens the boy's family for marriage. They got married. The boy's family and the long-term girlfriend's family are friends. Thus they still run into each other and during the wedding reception, he was seen holding the "supposedly" ex-girlfriend while talking to the father of the girlfriend.

The marriage is a "platonic marriage". But during the Christmas party, her husband and the girlfriend were missing and when they reappeared, he was slightly disheveled. So after she had given birth, she threw him out and they got divorced. He moved in with his ex-girlfriend. He also distanced himself from his family. Did not join his father's law firm. for him. In general he feels unsettled with life. He seems to envy the life that his ex-wife has created with his child

Anyway, his girlfriend gave him an ultimatum to stop seeing his ex-wife/his child. He moved out and went back to his ex-wife and child

does anyone remember the title for a harlequin presents book, 95% sure it was by carole mortimer, where the heroine is a secretary for the hero's brother and the hero's daughter and ex-wife are very interfering. I feel like the heroine's nickname is something cheesy like "bunny"? Thanks!

I found the book, it's Maya Banks' Soul Possession

This was a series. I read the books while on holiday and only vaguely remember them. A young woman who was treated poorly at her last school moved to a new area. She had been overweight and interested in a guy that didn't treat her well. I recall this guy was good looking, a smoker and good on computers.

Now in a new school this girl is thin, runs a lot, and puts up barriers to avoid being hurt. She makes a female friend and is invited to a party. At this party she has a confrontation with a very good looking aloof boy. I believe she starts calling him the ice prince, due to his demeanor and ice blue eyes. It's well known this boy doesn't date girls from school. Later, I think, she discovers he's been working as an escorts. They develop a very antagonistic relationship. In the end the ice Prince saves her and her mother from her mother's boyfriend. The boyfriend had been attacking them. I believe there was a baseball bat involved.

Other background information:
She also makes a male friend in her new high school.
Her mom and dad are divorced.
Her mom is living at the lower middle class level.
Her father left for another woman and is remarried. He is upper class.
She goes to stay with her father the summer before college. I don't believe she had much contact with him after the divorce.
I think the hot, smoker she liked from her previous high school ends up going to the same college.

As I wrote I remembered more than I thought I would. Hopefully, you kind people will remember what the series/book is.

hi guys, i need help finding a book. all i remember is this:

in the book the hero has a military/security background. for some reason he might be secretly watching the heroine. the heroine becomes friends with the hero's sister but she doesn't know that they are related.I think there's a dog in the story(but not 100% sure). the heroine has a baby in the end.
